Four Steps to Connect to the CommonWell Network:

1. Subscribe

Sign your Member Services Agreement (MSA). In addition to the standard Membership Agreement, CommonWell Members planning to offer CommonWell Services to its clients must sign an additional agreement between the member company and the Alliance. The CommonWell MSA outlines what the Member obligations and terms are with regards to the CommonWell services available through the Alliance’s Service Provider.

2. Activate

Working with your Service Provider program manager and internal organizations, establish implementation KPIs, formulate a deployment plan including timeline and growth goals and ensure CommonWell activities are integrated into your organization’s current product roadmap.

3. Develop & Validate

Enhance products to utilize CommonWell services, complete the certification process and launch a beta program. In addition to software development, create marketing content, sales and support tools and the foundation required to support the necessary product changes throughout your business.

4. Grow

Complete product general availability, execute organizational CommonWell Deployment Plan, and roll out CommonWell services to your client base at large. At this point, your deployed products also receive CommonWell Connected™ designation.

CommonWell Service Adopters are Contributor Members committed to building CommonWell Services into their software so providers can maximize a trusted network for data exchange while maintaining their existing workflow. Through active participation in committees, they have the opportunity to both influence and vote on the direction of the Alliance and our Service offerings.

Connectivity to Carequality Available via CommonWell: Noted Service Adopters also have the option for their provider clients to share patient data with Carequality-enabled providers through their CommonWell connection.

CommonWell Members

CommonWell members are working together to define the future of nationwide interoperability and to help ensure health care providers and individuals have access to health information – when they need it, wherever their care occurred and regardless of who provided that care.
